April 9, Wednesday, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Two-day workshop on animation for mapping performances, during which students from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk and the University of the Arts in Poznań will take on the role of mentors, sharing their knowledge and experience with young participants from the Bydgoszcz Art High School. The goal of the workshop is to introduce students to mapping technology and creating animations synchronized with music. However, its primary purpose is to foster a creative exchange of energy between three artistic communities, three cities, and two fields of art.
The animations created during the workshop will be showcased in Bydgoszcz as part of an audiovisual walk "Echolight."
The entire process will be overseen by faculty members from the University of the Arts in Poznań—Miłosz Margański and Paulina Wyrt, as well as from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk—Weronika Dziurdziewicz, Kamila Okrutny, Adam Przybysz, and Robert Turło.
The "Echolight" workshops, as part of the 14th IAFF Animocje, are organized within the UNESCO Creative City of Music program in Bydgoszcz.
