Since that time, in every decade we have examples of what for some is still controversial, and for the other – inspiring and very fascinating – the combination of the seemingly contradictive terms: animation and documentary. In recent years, animadoc has become very popular, which can be confirmed by the emergence of a festival dedicated exclusively to this genre: Rising of Lusitania - AnimaDoc Film Festival in Liverpool.

Independent Animator of the Animation World; initiator and director of ANIMATION ACROSS BORDERS (2012-), O!PLA Animation Festival in Poland (2013-), Rising of Lusitania - AnimaDoc Film Festival in Liverpool, UK (2019-); Co-creator and programme director of CRAFT International Animation Festival in Yogyakarta (Java, Indonesia); coordinator of Polish chapter of StopTrik International Film Festival (2016-); curator, juror (Belarus, Brazil, Croatia, Germany, Italy, Norway, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain), initiator and coordinator of various cultural and artistic projects.
He studied Film Theory and New Media (University of Lodz). In 2010 - 2012 he working for Se-ma-for Film Production as a distributor and Se-ma-for Film Foundation as an initiator and coordinator of special events (i.a. Se-Ma-For European/Asian Express 2011: Beijing/Madrid/Tokyo/Paris) and a program director of two first editions of Se-Ma-For Film Festival (2010/2011). Initiator and coordinator of Animation Section & Competition at ARS INDEPENDENT International Film Festival in Katowice (2012) and SCARY PUPPETS & SEXY DOLLS (2010-), among others. In 2008 – 2010 he was a program director in one of the most famous arthouse cinema in Poland - Charlie Cinema. Permanently cooperates with several festivals and institutions all around the world.
