"Every day our bodies are being politicised, weaponized and surveilled. Food, sex, sports are on the regular agenda of demonstrators, TV presenters and social activists. Expectations regarding how our bodies should perform, look, smell, discharge fluids are translated into every second piece of content we scroll through on Instagram or TikTok. Freedom of pursuing pleasures in an honest way is something a person can seek for many years and never fulfil after all. Raw, “unfiltered” experiences are somehow contradictory to connectivity and constant presence in the digital age. Authors of the selected films give us a sneak peak into their worlds of desires and a chance to look at them through their eyes".
