14th Animocje. What's on the schedule? [April 9 & 10]

Another festival day ahead of us. During Wednesday's screenings, we will present sets of the best animated films in the Children's and Youth Film Competition in the age category 12+ and 15+. In the afternoon, a treat for animation fans during Q&A meetings at Music Cafe Szpulka, in a relaxed atmosphere we will talk with the festival guests. A moment later we will move to the Orzeł Cinema hall for the second edition of the Main Competition. Right after it, we will show the second full-length film "Billy's Space Mission 5000" directed by Julian Glander on the big screen. The story of a teenager living on the outskirts of Florida, who, in addition to the typical problems of adolescence, has to deal with unusual situations from another (cosmic) world. At the end of the day, the Music Film Competition, a mix of films that you cannot ignore. Prepare yourselves for a crazy mix of sounds and images.

Music Film Competition, 93’

Thursday begins with screenings for kindergartens and schools, in films selected by film educators we will sometimes smuggle in a funny, sometimes reflective form, content important for every child. At 4:00 PM we will meet for Q&A, which will be led by the irreplaceable Piotr Kardas. After the meeting, the third set of films in the Main Competition, and right after it we will move to the foyer for the opening of the exhibition of works by Stephen Vuillemin, who Stolen Pictures, the opening of the exhibition of works by Stephen Vuillemin, who refers to generative AI in his work. See for yourself what resulted from these inspirations. At the end of this intensive day, we have prepared a unique accompanying event, i.e. an audiovisual walk through selected places in Bydgoszcz. The culmination of the walk will be Anibattle, a concert by the duo Artur Maćkowiak and Szymon Szwarc combined with a visual battle of animations. We recommend and see you!
