On the night of March 2-3, we will learn the verdict of the American Film Academy and find out who will receive the Oscar statuettes this time, and we would like to boast about the fact that in the festival program we have prepared for you several proposals that have been nominated for this award.
We will present a set of 5 animated short films - Oscar 2025 Short Films Nominees: Animated Films and a wonderful story of a friendship between girl and a snail - "The Memorial of a snail" directed by Adam Eliot. We support everyone, but we keep our fingers crossed for the animation below :-)
"The Snail Diary" is the bittersweet memoir of a lonely woman (Grace Pudel) who tells her life story to a humble garden snail named Sylvia. This is the second feature-length animated film by Adam Elliot, who won an Oscar in 2003 for "Harvie Krumpet", and the seventh part of his "Trilogy of Trilogies". This year, Elliot's film will compete for an Oscar with: "Inside Out 2", "Flow", "The Wild Robot" and "Wallace and Gromit: Revenge of the Penguin".
