Kamila Szwarc is a graduate of cultural studies (specialization: film studies) at the Faculty of Philology, and film and TV production management at the Faculty of Radio and Television, both at the University of Silesia. She is passionate about Balkan cinema and Michael Haneke’s work. Cinema specialist at the arthouse Kadr in Dąbrowa Górnicza, where she is responsible for meetings within the Media and Social Education Program KinoSzkoła and the Team of Educators’ project Film Highway to Europe. She also cooperates with Muza cinema in Sosnowiec and a co-founded Kanapowy Klub Filmowy (Sofa Film Club). She loves to spend her holidays at film festivals.
